The areas that fall within the purview of Student Involvement and Leadership include leadership development and programmatic advisement of charter student organizations, Student Government, Student Activities Council, and the Leadership Cabinet. UNO Homecoming Schedule: Sunday, November 1st: Decorating the Quad with SAC from 3:00 to 5:00! Monday, November 2nd: Voting for Homecoming King and Queen begin! Second Line Band and Free Food in the Quad at 12:30! Introduction of Homecoming King and Queen Nominees in the Quad at 1:30! Saints Game viewing in the Alumni Center at 7:00! Tuesday, November 3rd: Rock Band Competition in the Alumni Center Ballroom at 7:00! Wednesday, November 4th: Mocktail Competition in the amphitheatre at 12:30! UC Deck inside Window Banners must be up by 4:30! Thursday, November 5th: Mechanical Bull rides along with Kustom Signz printing from 10:00 to 2:00! Mechanical Bull Riding Competition at 12:30! Friday, November 6th: Football Game Banners MUST be turned in to the SAC office by 3:00, no exception! Bonfire in the shell parking lot behind the Cove at 7:00! Saturday, November 7th: Tailgating in front of Tad Gormley Stadium! Bag of Donuts scheduled to play in the stadium parking lot at 3:45! UNO Privateers VS. Xavier Musketeers - game starts at 7:00! Homecoming presentation of King and Queen at Half-Time! Homecoming competition winners announced after game!

The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership (SIL) is committed to providing programs and opportunities through which students may become meaningfully involved in campus life. Our programs and activities support the enhancement of learning, educational growth, and development of students. These programs and initiatives include leadership development, organizational involvement, campus wide entertainment, cultural and educational programs, volunteer service, and recognition. Our goal is to create opportunities so that students can achieve academically and socially in ways that will facilitate their transition into the world as responsible citizens.
